Greetings horse lovers and enthusiasts! We began our journey on April 1, 2024 managing Green Acres Stables, owned by William Hopkins of Dover, NH. Craig Harris, my husband, and I have been horse owners for many. We strive to continue the legacy at Green Acres of caring for the horses, sharing the fun with our barn friends, and giving back to the horse community through volunteerism and providing opportunities for all horse lovers to be with our beloved four legged friends.

I rode and taught riding as a young woman, starting my passion for horses at age 8, riding a pony named Pepsi, who had to have been the most stubborn shetland pony on the planet! I became a horse owner when a young shetland pony I named Jerry appeared in our yard. Turns out my father won him in a poker game for me! I rode him with no tack and fell off more times than I can count. Nothing like a pony to make you into a better rider!

Fast forward to today. Craig and I own an OTTB named Sweetie, pictured, and a Clydesdale cross named Tsunami. We look forward to welcoming new boarders to the facility, and are working toward continuing the amazing adventures we and our friends have had at our beloved Green Acres.
